Qualify the call before you are on it.
Your method, your refusals and your opinions, written once and askable by the prospect and by whatever assistant they sent to look you up first.
- Your expertise is the product, and you currently deliver the first hour of it free, over and over, to people who were never going to sign.
- A page answers the qualifying questions without you, in your words, with what each answer rests on.
- Your method is public. Your client work is not. Those are two settings, not two documents.
What independents use it for
- Qualifying, without a call
- The questions you use to work out whether somebody is a fit, answered publicly. The wrong prospects disqualify themselves and the right ones arrive already convinced.
- Your method, in full
- How you run the first week, what you need from a client, what your deliverable actually is. Most people buying a consultant are buying the absence of uncertainty about this.
- The opinions that sell you
- Nobody hires the neutral one. The pieces of your thinking that put people off are also the ones that make the right client sure, and they can sit on the open web where an assistant will quote them.
- A door for a live deal
- Invite a prospect and open the things you would say only to somebody serious. It ends when you end it, and nobody else ever had it.
What you must not put in, and what stops you
Write the lesson, never the account. A client's name, their numbers and anything said in confidence either do not go in or sit at Hidden, where the AI does not see them at all.
Two things in the product make this harder to get wrong than a note to yourself. What an audience may not have is taken away before the AI reads anything, so there is no prompt to talk it out of. And money cannot be stored here by anybody, which is the topic these mistakes usually involve.
About rates
Your page cannot discuss your rates, anybody's money, or quote a price. That is deliberate, and it is not a feature that is coming.
It is also the correct commercial answer. A number answered by a machine at two in the morning is a number you have to honour, and an AI that can generate a commitment is an unbounded liability. Let the page make them want the call, and price it yourself.
Write your qualifying questions once and stop repeating them.
